Update #2 - Animatic and stuffs

Ooh, been far too long since I updated this, sorry about that. I'll try updating a bit more frequently from now on.

Anyhow, since last time I've drawn the first version of the storyboard and put it together to an animatic. The goal of this storyboard/animatic was to figure out a few keyposes, timing and to some extent camera angles.
Now, as you will see, there's only two (or three, depending on how you count) different camera angles here. I did it like this because I was pretty sure I wanted to animate in a way I'd see as much of the characters as possible in each shot. Now I'm thinking I may want to have it a bit more cinematic, think through the camera work a bit more and sort of make it the third character, to put it very pretentiously.

According to my schedule I am supposed to start animating in 3D by January, so I'm aiming to have a complete storyboard by New Year's Eve. I also want to make the 2D animatic a bit more animated. When I get back to Norway for Yule I'll have access to a more wide-angled camera so I can more accurately film reference videos, which I will do.
Penny Holton have told us that she's going to help us all book a studio to film reference videos in, so I'll definitely do that as well. But it's nice to rehearse before then.

Lastly, on recommendation from Em Johnson I've partnered up with my room mate who's doing a similar project for his Final Year Project. He'll help me with references by being my second character, and I'll do the same for him.

Enough wish wash, first 2D animatic below!
